Gujarat Titans (GT) is a franchise cricket team based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Team will play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, 15th season. It was founded in 2021, the team will play its home matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemdabad. The franchise cricket team is owned by CVC Capital Partners. The team will be coached by Ashish Nehra and captained by Hardik Pandya.
On 13th March, a Newly-introduced franchise, Gujarat Titans unveiled their team jersey at the Narendra Modi Cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. The Jersey Unveil took place in the presence of Captain Hardik Pandya, head coach Ashish Nehra, BCCI secretary Jay Shah and all other team players. Hardik Pandya shared his thoughts on teaming up with former India pacer Ashish Nehra, the head. Gujarat Titans New Jersey ahead of the upcoming IPL 2022 Season
The Franchise Cricket Team is owned by CVC Capital Partners successfully bid with Rs 5,625 crores for Gujarat Titans. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was picked up by the franchise for INR 15 crore ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. Also, Gujarat Titans Team added Afghanistan leg-spinner, Rashid Khan for INR 15 crore, and Indian opener Shubman Gill for INR 8 crore to the Team Squad.

The BCCI secretary Jay Shah was the chief guest for the Gujarat Titans New Jersey Launch event at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Also, along with Team Captain Hardik Pandya, head coach Ashish Nehra and other franchise players were present at the event.
Meanwhile, Gary Kirsten (2011 World Cup-winning Coach) will be serving dual roles of mentor and batting coach in the Gujarat Titans (GT) Team. Vikram Solanki (Former England Cricketer) has been appointed as the Ahmedabad team’s Director of Cricket.
Gujarat Titans Schedule
The IPL 2022 is all set to begin on 26th March 2022. All the Matches of the Indian Premier League stage will be played in Maharashtra across four different venues including DY Patil Stadium, Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium & Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

They also finalized four venues across the state of Maharashtra to host 74 IPL Tournament matches. Wankhede & DY Patil Stadium will host 20 matches each. Brabourne stadium in Mumbai and MCA Stadium in Pune will play hosts to 15 matches each.
