
ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup 2022 – Match Schedule, Venues, and Groupings
Under 19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2022 – The ICC has announced the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2022 Schedule for the 14th Edition. This tournament will roll out from 14th January 2022 till 05th February 2022.
These 16 teams will compete in 48 matches across 4 host countries – Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, St Kitts and Nevis, and Trinidad and Tobago- across 10 venues. India has been placed in Group B along with Ireland, South Africa & Uganda.
For each of the 4 groups, the top 02 teams will advance to the Super League while the remaining teams will feature in the Plate competition across 23 days.

- Group B – Uganda (debutant), India, South Africa, and Ireland
- Group C – Pakistan, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, and Papua New Guinea

ICC Under-19 World Cup 2022 – Key Highlights
- In the ICC U19 event, the most successful team is India won the title four times.
- West Indies, South Africa & Bangladesh have won it once, Pakistan twice and England Australia has won the title thrice.
- During 9th -12th January 2022, a total of 16 warm-up matches will take place in St Kitts and Nevis and Guyana.
- The first match of the event will be played in between West Indies & Australia & in between Sri Lanka & Scotland on 14th January 2022.
- The group stage will take place from 14th -22nd January 2022, on the other hand, the Plate matches are scheduled to be held between 25th -31st January 2022 and the Super League will take place from 26th January 2022.
- The semi-finals will be played on 1st & 2nd February 2022 across 2 venues, while the final will be played on 5th February 2022 at Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua & Barbuda.
- India will play its first match against South Africa on 15th January 2022 at Guyana National Stadium in Guyana.
