India is all set to play with South Africa in an upcoming Test Series IND vs SA. Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj is the 3rd pacer that India will pick for the India vs South Africa 1st Test. Earlier Siraj was part of the IND vs NZ Test Series. In which Mohammed picked three wickets in 1 Test at an average of 10.66. In August, tour against England, Siraj totally impressed with his bowling. The right-arm pacer took 14 wickets at an average of 30.71.

Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami is the other pacer playing for Team India in IND vs SA. He was also in the IND vs NZ Test Series. During England Tour, in his last Test series, the right-arm pacer took 11 wickets in three Tests at an average of 27.55.

Jasprit Bumrah

Rishabh Pant (WK)

Rishabh Pant is a wicket Keeper behind the stumps during IND vs SA in 1st Test. He was also the part of Test series against New Zealand. Rishabh Pant last played Test matches during the England tour.

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer is a batsman in the playing XI. Iyer made a Test debut in India vs New Zealand Series. He scored a century and a half-century in his debut game, by scoring 202 runs in total in the 2 Tests. Shreyas will continue his magnificent form in the 1st Test against South Africa as well.

Ajinkya Rahne

Ajinkya Rahane is also given an opportunity to play in the IND vs SA 1st Test Series. He has been battling with poor batting form. He has continuously failed to perform this year in the previous matches. Ahead of the series, he was also relieved from the vice-captaincy. Now, the right-handed batsman will aim to regain his performance while batting.

Cheteshwar Pujara

Virat Kohli (C)

Kl Rahul

KL Rahul will be another opener for India. Due to an injury, He didn’t play the previous series against New Zealand. In his last Test series against England, He did a great job. The right-handed batsman also scored a century at Lord’s for which Rahul earned the player of the match award.

Mayank Agrawal

Mayank Agarwal will be the opener of India in the India vs South Africa 1st Test. With the absence of Shubham Gill and Rohit Sharma, India does not have many options for openers in the series. Hence, For India, Mayank Agarwal will open the innings. In the previous Test series against New Zealand, he scored 242 runs in 4 innings. He slammed 1 century and 1 half-century.
