Rishabh Pant has crossed 100 for the fifth time-  The first match of the Test series between India and Sri Lanka has started on March 4. The Sri Lanka team is playing the 2-match Test series and 3-Match T20I series on the Indian tour. India defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 in the Twenty20 series. Now 1st match of test series 04-08 match is being played till 2022 at PCA is Bindra Stadium, Mohali. This test match is special for Indian players because this is the 100th test match of former Indian captain Virat Kohli. The same Kohli got out on the first day of the match after scoring 45 runs in 76 balls.

Apart from this, India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test opener did not go well for Rishabh Pant and he again fell victim to a nervous 90. The format of the cricket played by the team’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant does not make any difference. Pant, who batted in every format, gave the whole of his explosive innings against Sri Lanka in the first match played at the Mohali Cricket Stadium. Rishabh Pant scored 96 runs in just 98 balls on the first day of the India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test match. And unfortunately, Pant could not reach the century after crossing the 90 mark for the fifth time in his career.

But later Pant was clean bowled by Suranga Lakmal. Therefore, Rishabh Pant has been a victim of nervous 90 for the fifth time in his career.

He would not have imagined that Pant, who hit six sixes during his innings, would get out like this. That’s why Pant sat on the pitch as soon as he got out, after that when Pant was returning to the pavilion, the spectators in the stands stood up and applauded for him.

The first day of the first match between India and Sri Lanka was very good and the Indian batsmen got off to a good start. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal shared a 52-run partnership for the first wicket. There was a 90-run partnership between Hanuma Vihari at number three and Virat Kohli, playing the 100th Test match of his career.

In the end, due to the fire of Rishabh Pant, Team India scored 357 runs till the end of the first day’s play. While for Sri Lanka, Lasith Ambul Denia took the highest 2 wickets, apart from this Lakmal, Kumara, Fernando and Dhananjay de Silva took 1-1 wickets.
