The 1st Test Match of the Sir Lanka Tour of India Series was played at the IS Bindra Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium in Mohali, Punjab. In which Match there saw 50% crowd Capacity for what was former captain Virat Kohli’s 100t-Test Match.

In this Match, Ravindra Jadeja was the Player of the match for his 175 and 9 wickets. Sri Lanka was bundled out for 174 and 178 in response to the home team’s 574/8.

Karnataka State Cricket Association Revises Crowd Capacity From 50% to 100% at M Chinnaswamy Stadium 

Due to High Response and Demand for Tickets at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, KSCA has allowed a 100% Audience for India vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test Match. KSCA in a statement said that 100 Percent Crowds would be allowed for the Bengaluru Test. 

KSCA Treasurer Vinay Mrutyunjaya said, “KSCA is pleased to announce that the viewership for India vs Sri Lanka Day-Night Test Cricket match being played from 12-16 March 2022 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore has increased. There has been a great response.” in a statement.

“Given the high response count and since there are no further restrictions for spectators, KSCA will start selling tickets to the full capacity of the stadium,” Mrityunjay said.
