IPL’s latest Ahmedabad Team could be called the “Ahmedabad Titans” with reports in the build-up to the IPL 2022 Auction. While on the other hand, Lucknow has been revealed its name and logo to the fans. Ahmedabad Team will be led by Hardik Pandya, who have remained patient and are yet to confirm their name within just five days. The franchise will make the announcement soon, having already confirmed their support staff and the retentions for the new season of IPL 2022.

IPL 2022 Auction -Ahmedabad Team Name

The Ahmedabad Titans (AT) is a franchise cricket team based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The Ahmedabad Team was founded on 25^th October 2021. The team plays its home matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera. The franchise is owned by CVC Capital Partners. The team will be led by Hardik Pandya and coached by Ashish Nehra.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council issued an invitation to tender for 2 new Teams in August 2021. A total of 22 companies was interested but with a high base price for the new teams, there were no more than 6 bidders. The BCCI allowed a consortium of 3 companies or individuals to bid for each franchise. The CVC Capital Partners won the rights of the Ahmedabad franchise with a bid of over Rs 5,625 crore.
