KL Rahul made his first Debut in the Under-19 World Cup included in Karnataka’s team in 2010-11 Season. He made a comeback in the 2012-13 seasons, scoring 400 runs in 05 matches at an average of 50.
In 2014 International Career, Rahul made his debut against Australia in the Test Series. On 11th June 2016, He made his one-day international debut against Zimbabwe. In that match, he made a century in his debut innings & thereby became the first Indian player to do so in the history of Indian Cricket.
For the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, He was purchased by RCB as a wicket-keeper batsman in the year 2013 edition of the IPL. The following he has moved to SRH for INR 1 crore. In the 2016 edition of the IPL, Lokesh Rahul was once again brought back to Royal Challenger Bangalore. He ended the season as the 3rd-highest run-getter of the season, in 14 matches scoring 397 runs.
Kings XI Punjab purchased him in the 2018 edition for INR 11 Crores. In the history of the tournament, he started the tournament on a high, scoring the fastest half-century. In the 2019 season, he struck his maiden IPL century off just 64 balls against Mumbai Indians (MI) Team. In the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League, KL Rahul has been made the captain of the Kings XI Punjab Team.
