The BCCI announced the IPL 2022 Schedule on 06th March 2022. The season will start with Kolkata Knight Riders playing against Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. The 1st match will be a rematch of the IPL 2021 final with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) looking to take revenge on the defending champions.
A total of 74 matches will be played across the 4 venues in Maharashtra. A total of 20 matches each will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. At DY Patil Stadium a total of 15 matches each will be played at the Brabourne Stadium and the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Full Schedule
The Board of Control for Cricket has also allowed 25 % of the capacity crowd after discussions with the state government. There will be a total of 12 doubleheaders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The day matches will start from 03.30 PM IST. While the evening match will commence from 07:30 PM IST.
Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will play the 1st doubleheader on 27th March 2022 at the Brabourne cricket stadium.
