On 14th May 2016, at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium the highest partnership in IPL for any wicket was recorded by Virat Kohli & AB de Villiers of 229 runs against Gujarat Lions. By making a 215-run partnership against Mumbai Indians both duos broke their own record. In record time, both the players completed their century.
