
Rohit Sharma’s full name is Rohit Gurunath Sharma, was born on 30th April 1987 in Bansod, Nagpur, and Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian International Cricketer. Currently, he will captain the Indian National Cricket Team in T20Is. Rohit Sharma plays for Mumbai Indian in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
He is a Right-handed Batsman and an occasional Right-Arm off Break Bowler. Rohit Sharma is also known by his name Hitman, Ro, Shaana, Father of Daddy Hundreds. In a One Day International Match, by a batsman, he holds the world record for the highest individual score. He has scored 264 against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on 13th November 2014.
In the form of International Cricket, Rohit is the only player to have scored 03 double-centuries. By the International Cricket Council (ICC) in January 2020, Sharma was named the ODI Player of the Year. In a single edition of the Cricket World Cup, during the 2019 World Cup, Rohit became the only batsman to score five centuries.
