On 09th March 2022 S Sreesanth, announced his retirement from all forms of India’s domestic cricket. He played his last 1st-class match for Kerala vs Meghalaya in the 2021-22 edition of the Ranji Trophy. By finishing with 2 for 40 and 0 for 57 in the 2 innings.
S Sreesanth announces Retirement from all forms of Cricket
Sreesanth the fast bowler was part of the Indian team from (2005 – 2011). He played 27 Tests, 53 ODIs, and 10 T20Is for Team India. Also, he was part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) until 2013 and played for Rajasthan Royals (RR) before being banned for life in a spot-fixing scandal with two others also. The ban was shortened to 7 years and Sreesanth made a return in the year 2020.

Sreesanth will be remembered for his catch that led to India’s first ICC win in over 24 years (Australia in the 2007 T20 World Cup).

S Sreesanth Career – 25 Years of Journey
S. Sreesanth Former Indian speedster has announced his retirement from all forms of competitive cricket. He announces on his social media handles.
Sree expressed his gratitude for having represented a no. of different teams throughout his professional career 25 years of journey. He said that while it’s a moment of sadness and with no regrets.
Sreesanth debuted for India in an ODI against Sri Lanka in the year 2005. He played 27 Tests, 53 ODIs, and 10 T20Is for Team India. The last appearances came in the Oval Test against England in 2011. He took 87 wickets in Tests and 75 in One-Dayers, while picking up 7 wickets in T20Is. He was a member of India’s Campaigns in the ICC World T20 2007/ ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
Sree also turned out for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Rajasthan Royals, and Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the IPL. He has then involved in a spot-fixing match in the year 2013 edition of the IPL tournament. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) imposed a life ban on him. The duration of the ban was then reduced to 7 years.
