IPL 2022 auction has broken all records in terms of viewership. Star Sports recorded a total of 50 million viewers watching the channel during the mega auction. The Live TV/Media Rights have been bought by Star Sports Network in the IPL Media Auction. Channel Star Sports expects sales of Rs 4000 crore from the 15th edition of IPL. Hence this network has signed deals with Cred, Dream11, Byju’s, TATA, Asian Paints, Spotify, Meesho, Swiggy Instamart, Kamla Pasand & Pepsi. Through the advertisements of all these companies, Star Sports has set a target of 4 thousand crore advertising revenue business.

Star Ports expect Sales of Rs 4000 Crore from the 15th Edition of IPL 2022 

TV telecast network Star Sports is setting a new identity for advertising revenue for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. IPL Live Broadcaster has received 3200 crores in advertising revenue since last year. According to sources, Star Sports is targeting ad revenue of Rs 4,000 crore.

The official broadcaster has increased the rates for IPL on-air sponsorship by 20%. Star Sports has accepted agreements with 10-12 advertisers for the 15th season of IPL.

Star Sports Signed Deals with 10-12 advertisers for the 15th season of IPL

Star Sports has signed an agreement with many advertisers to get 4000 crore advertising revenue business. The advertisers are Cred, Dream11, Byju’s, TATA, Asian Paints, Spotify, Meesho, Swiggy Instamart, Kamla Pasand & Pepsi. Also ReadIPL Media Rights 2022

Co-Presenting Partners- 160 Crores 

Associate Sponsors- 90 Crores 

Star Sports has increased the rate of Sponsorship Packages and inventory rates by almost 20% vis a vis IPL2021. The same packages were sealed at 130-140 & 60-65 Crore range respectively in Indian Premier League 2021. 

“IPL 2022 is very special. It will have 10 teams, will be played in India, will have new format & most importantly new composition of the teams. All of these put together has created a huge amount of buzz in the market & Star is rightfully encashing this buzz”, said one of the buying heads at a leading media buying agency.

All 10 IPL Teams have been divided into two groups. The best teams in the second group will play once during the season.
