The Board of Control for Cricket in India is organizing the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament from November 4 to November 22. A total of 38 teams participated in this Twenty20 Cricket Championship. BCCI has divided all the teams into 2 phases, Five Elite Groups and One Plate Group. Each team had 5 matches in the league stage and there was a provision of 4 points for a win. Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Points Table 2021-22
Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Hyderabad, and Vidarbha have all made it to the quarter-finals. In the semi-finals, on 20 November Tamil Nadu defeated Hyderabad by 8 wickets to enter the final. In the same second match, Karnataka defeated Vidarbha by 4 runs to reach the final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Here the final match between the two teams will be held on 22 November.
