TATA IPL 2022: Big Match Players in History of IPL

Shane Watson-

Shane Watson has always been a big match player. Watson may not be able to do big in the league stage but his performance in the knockout matches is always important. Watson was an integral part of the 2008 Rajasthan team that won the IPL. His performance in IPL for the first time was only 4 overs bowled at an economy of 7.25! With a bat in his hand, he played a quick inning of 28 runs. Watson single-handedly blew up SRH’s bowling in the 2018 IPL final.

The bowling unit of SRH at that time was full of sheer quality! In the 2019 IPL final, Shane Watson was a lone warrior and played even after bleeding from his knee due to injury. Also, Read- IPL Head to Head Records Since 2008 to 2021,

Yusuf Pathan is big Match Player in TATA IPL 2022

There is no player bigger than Yusuf Pathan in the most valuable games. Be it a do-or-die game for KKR or SRH, Yusuf has always delivered his best when the need arises. Yusuf Pathan was the best batsman for SRH in 2018 final, scoring 45 off 27 oddballs. In the 2014 IPL, in a winning game, Yusuf Pathan scored 72 runs in just 22 balls. Pathan also became the man of the match in the first IPL final. He helped Rajasthan Royals in the chase on the night of the final.

Suresh Raina has gone unsold in TATA IPL 2022

Suresh Raina was the face of Chennai Super Kings till 2018. From 2018, his form fell and he fell out of favor with the team. China Thala has played important innings for the team in many big matches. His first instance came in the 2010 IPL final against Mumbai Indians. With a scintillating 57 runs, Raina ensured that Chennai got their hands on the trophy. After CSK lost to KKR in the 2012 IPL final, Raina scored 73 runs in 38 balls.

It was a knock that was marred by Manvinder Bisla’s dominance. In 2014, an animal had entered Suresh Raina’s body. Raina scored 87 runs in 25 balls. One can never forget that Parvinder Awana’s career got in trouble because of this innings of Suresh Raina. He dismissed Parvinder for 30 runs in an over.

Kieron Pollard

Kieron Pollard

Kieron Pollard is such a person who joins the party only when needed. We’ve never seen Pollard perform amazingly when the whole team is on the song. Pollard’s performance comes at a time when the team was in serious trouble. Kieron Pollard blew up Kings XI Punjab by scoring 83 runs in 30 balls! Last season we saw Mumbai Indians successfully chase down their highest score, all thanks to the big man of Trinidad. He scored 87 runs in 34 balls! Pollard becomes a beast when Mumbai Indians face Chennai Super Kings. He likes to beat them. Polly almost got MI Paltan home in the 2010 IPL final. Cut to 2013, and Kieron Pollard scored a match-winning 60*.
